Central Nervous System

The SNS receives information from the outside world through sense organs and transmits information back to the CNS

The ANS transmits information between the CNS and the internal organs.

Divisions of the ANS
When the threat is detected by the CNS the sympathetic branch of the ANS. This sends a message, which releases the hormone, adrenaline, in the bloodstream. This triggers the physiological arousal for the fight flight response.
