what is a barrier?
a circumstance or obstacle that keeps people or things apart or prevents communication or progress.

some individuals have restricted lifestyles such as disability, care and may need training to help themselves through a mentor

mental capacity act for example those with learning difficulties trained to be able to travel on the bus

funding to adapt buildings- disability access- this applies to new buildings

what is joint planning
an individual may have needs that need to be met- joint plnning draws on 2 services(+) eg health services and social services- both figure out best way to provide and share cost
