4. Storage - Large organisations needs a device that has a large storage capacity. E.g. Magnetic tape,Cloud. Where the backup is going to be stored- Ideal location would be away from primary location.

Full Backup
All files on system are copied

Incremental Backup
Files that's been changed since last full backup is copied, AUDIT TRAILS CAN BE USED TO TRACE FILE CHANGES.

Differential Backup
Cumulative backup- any changed file are added to the backup

What's is a recovery procedure?
Needed so when the need comes, all those involved know what to do and what's needed.

How does a 24hr company backup its data? (1)
RAID systems: enables data to be written at the same time to several disks. If one disks fails the next is automatically used. With 3 disks they can be placed in different locations.

Clustering- File servers and storage devices work together, so the company isn't relying on 1 server or one storage device.
