What is a nephron?
Part of the kidney, where the blood is filtered and purified.

The membranes between the blood and the capsule act like filters, and the protein molecules are too big to fit through.

The urea diffuses out through the dialysis membrane, because the concentration of urea in the blood is more than in the dialysis fluid/because the dialysis fluid contains no urea.

The dialysis fluid contains the same concentration of glucose as healthy blood, so there is no concentration gradient and no net movement of glucose.
