(B2) Additional Biology: Cells

?
Name all of the parts that animal and human cells have
Nucleus Cytoplasm Cell membrane. Mitochondria Ribosomes
1 of 6
Describe what the nucleus cytoplasm and cell membrane do
Nucleus: contains DNA that controls the activities of the cell. Cytoplasm gel like substance where most of the chemical reactions happen. Cell membrane: holds the cell together and controls what goes in and out.
2 of 6
What does mitochondria and ribosomes do
Mitochondria: This is where most of the energy for respiration is released. Ribosomes: This is where proteins are made in the cell.
3 of 6
Plant cells have all the things that animal cells have what are the extra things
Cell wall: made of cellulose strengthens the cell. Cell vacuole: contains cell sap. Chloroplasts: Absorb light energy to make food for the plant.
4 of 6
What parts does a yeast cell have
Cell wall, cell membrane, cytoplasm and a nucleus
5 of 6
What parts does a bacterial cell have
Cell wall, cell membrane cytoplasm and DNA; the DNA floats in the cytoplasm
