What is a medicine?
A medicine is a drug that relives the symptoms of an illness, but does not destroy the illness causing pathogen.

Penecillin is a anti-biotic secreated by a fungus called Penicillium.

What is antibotic resistnace?
THis is when a bacteria has a gentic mutation and is then unable to be destroyed by the anti-biotic that killed the rest of its colony.

Give an example of a mutated bacteria has given rise to a new strain of a disease.
MRSA spread through hospitals as a result of natural selection, due to overuse of anti-biotics, it became resistant to many anti-biotics, wich made it extremly dangerous.

is an epidemic of infectious disease that has spread through human populations across a large region; for instance multiple continents, or even worldwide.
