Why don't medicines like asprin cure your illness?
Drugs like asprin are good painkillers but they have no effect on viruses that have entered your tissues and made you feel ill.

Antibiotics do not destroy viruses because viruses reproduce inside the cells. It is difficult to develop drugs that can destroy viruses without damaging your body cells.
