Cholesterol is a substance found in the blood. It is made in the liver.

You need cholesterol for your cell membranes and to make vital hormones.

Why does your cholesterol level matter?
If the balance of your cholesterol levels is wrong, your risk of getting hearrt disease increases.

How could you change your cholesterol levels?
Your cholesterol levels are affected by exercise. When you exercise your good cholesterol levels go up, and your bad cholesterol levels go down.

Does exercise make you healthier?
Exercise helps keep the balance of good and bad cholesterol. Therefore this lowers your risk to heart disease and other health problems.
