Embryo cloning
A developing embryo is removed from a pregnant animal at an early stage, before the embryo’s cells have had time to become specialised. The cells are separated from one another. They are then grown for a while in a laboratory and transplanted into ho

Adult cell cloning
the nucleus is removed from an unfertilised egg cell and discarded the nucleus is removed from an adult body cell and injected into the egg cell an electric shock is applied to make the egg cell begin to divide to form an embryo.
2 of 12
Adult cell cloning
while it is still a ball of cells, the embryo is inserted into the womb of an adult female the embryo continues to grow and develop The new individual is genetically identical to the animal that donated the nucleus from one of its body cells.
3 of 12
One disadvantage of cloning
The creation of identical copies of animals – through cloning, it is possible to create genetically identical animals for organ or tissue transplantation; and the creation of identical copies of only the best animal population.
4 of 12
One advantage of cloning
Early death or premature aging – when somatic cells undergo telomeric shortening during cloning, the results can be early death of the animal or premature aging.
5 of 12
Genetic engineering
Certain enzymes can cut pieces of DNA from one organism, and join them into a gap in the DNA of another organism. This means that the new organism with the inserted genes has the genetic information for one or more new characteristics.
6 of 12
One disadvantage of Genetic engineering
some people believe the process is unethical and should be banned. Others are concerned about what might happen in the future. unknown effects could effect 100 years later.
7 of 12
One Advantage of Genetic engineering
almost limitless possibilities. used to create insulin quickly saving lives. can be used to make plants immune to pesticide or kill insect who eat said plant ( cabbage)

What does the theory of evaluation tell us?
The basic idea behind the theory of evolution is that different species have developed over time from other life forms. And have adapted to different condition giraffe has longer neck for example
9 of 12
Natural selection
Individuals in a species show a wide range of variation and this variation is because of differences in their genes. Individuals with characteristics most suited to their environment are more likely to survive and reproduce.
10 of 12
Natural selection
This means that their genes are less likely to be passed on to the next generation. Given time, a species will gradually evolve. Both genes and the environment can cause variation, but only genetic variation can be passed on to the next generation.

Mutation
