Someone or something with a right or power over others. Secular authority is the law of the land and religious authority is the teachings of sacred texts or religious leaders

Something a person feels strongly about. This may be based on belief or experience

Punishment
To make someone suffer pain or loss for a wrongdoing. There are five main aims of punishment: Deterrent, Protection, Reform, Retribution and Revenge
