A set of values and beliefs that affect how we think about people.

To pre judge someone based on their appearance or the way they act, they can be based off attitudes.

Learning cultural values

Secondary socialisation
When your learn values from social norms of society, this takes place when you are older. For example peers, religion, education, media, work etc.

Learning values through interaction with family.

Discrimination
Being treated differently because of their sex, gender, sexual orientation etc.

Direct discrimination
When discrimination is obvious through the use of words or actions.

When conditions are in place that may single put certain groups of people.

A generalised idea of a group of people.
