How are night terrors different to nightmares?
The EEG shows a sudden burst of activity showing that there is no dream content

What might be the reason for night terrors?
Underdeveloped myelin sheath and neural connections (not well coordinated and organised)

What is narcolepsy?
Sudden sleep attacks, directly from waking to REM. (also suffer unrelenting excessive sleepiness)

30 seconds - 30 minutes

What is fatal familial insomnia/FFI?
A dominant genetic disorder where you can't get beyond stage 1 sleep
