What was the context of Asch's Study?
Historical- Psychologists wanted to prevent events like the holocaust from happening again- Caused by social pressure and wanting to "fit in with the crowd"

Sherif (1936)- judging how far light moved in the dark (didn't move- autokinetic effect) Got together few days later the group of 4 pps came to common estimate.
