Lakoff
Women use tag questions to show uncertainty. They are more uncertain and indirect. They give options to avoid forcing someone into a corner

Women use empty adjectives to show their feelings or show they have an opinion but not to assert a new opinion (shows they are listening but doesn't interrupt the flow of the conversation)
