Section A ascends to the dominant whereas B descends to the tonic.

Texture: Main type of texture?
First 21 bars are strict fugal.This is followed with a passage of free counterpoint. Section B begins with a new fugal subject.

We should hear a question and answer.

Melody: Where do we hear the Q+A in both sections?
In section A Q=bars 1-6 where it is answered by the LH from bars 7, a 4th lower than D. In section B Q=50, A=55.

Desc. sequences (B4-5, 9-10, (38-40 in both hands)), Triadic melodies, Arpegiated sequences (Bars 1+2), scalic movement throughout, lots of FS in RH.
