Define The Efficient Cause.
The cause which brings something into being. The way in which it was created. A carpenter brings a table into being.

Define The Formal Cause.
The closest to Plato's idea of the Form but it does not belong to abstract world. The characteristic of an object that makes it the form that it is. It is the idea or plan that led to the object's creation. A carpenter has an idea about the table.

The most important cause as it describes what something is for (telos/purpose). A plate is made so you can eat from it.
