What is the argument of causation/ cosmological?
Everything is an effect; the result of a cause. The universe is an effect but what caused it? The first cause is something that could not have a cause before it to bring it into existence. God exists and is self-causing so must be the first cause
4 of 13
What is the moral argument?
We have morals. We have an idea of what we ought to do. This sense of right and wrong can only come from one source- God
5 of 13
What is the argument from design/ teleological?
A watch is a complex machine of cogs, wheels and balances and must have been designed by a watch maker. The universe is also complex and cannot exist by chance. The universe therefore must have been designed by God

Upbringing; people say so; loneliness; excuse to do bad things; reason for life; hope; explanations on how world was created
8 of 13

Why does a numinous experience lead to belief?
Something so amazing is seen like an act of nature influences you that there must be something out there to create this. It cannot be by chance
10 of 13
Why does prayer lead to belief?
Feels very personal and if they are answered, it is believed that God received them and gave you your wish rather than it happening by chance
11 of 13
Why do miracles lead to belief?
If something impossible happens due to faith or prayer, it instincts belief because of the faith they put in God

Why does conversion lead to belief?
