What is Chemical Weathering?
Chemical Weathering is the breakdown of rock (weather) by chemical mechanisms.

What is Salt Weathering?
this is when natural salts occur when in rocks and due to capillary action are brought to the surface of the desert landscape. These salt crystals lock together to form a very hard surface.

What is Carbonation?
Carbon Dioxide dissolved in water reacts with carbonate rocks to create a soluble product (Calcium Bicarbonate)
