What do drugs do to the body?
Drug alters what goes in your body by interfering with chemical reactions.

What does being addicted mean?
When your addicted, if you suddenly stop taking the drug you would suffer from withdrawal symptoms.

Drugs is tested on human volunteers in a clinical trial.

Explain what is a double blind randomized controlled trial.
There would be two groups of patients. One given the real drug and the other is given placebos - this is for doctors to see the actual difference the drug makes.

Why do doctors don't who has the tablet?
This is so doctors monitoring patients and analysing results aren't subconsciously influenced by their knowledge.

What are recreational illegal drugs divided into?
Two different classes - hard and soft drugs.
