What it the metabolic rate?
The rate at which chemical reactions take place in the body
1 of 10
What does a healthy diet contain? Why can some people eat lost of food without getting fat? How does an athlete's diet differ from yours? (1.1)
Most people eat a varied diet, which includes everything needed to keep the body healthy. Different people need different amounts of energy. The metabolic rate varies from person to person. The more exercise you take, the more food you need.

What health problems are linked to being overweight? (1.2)
If you take in more energy than you use, you will store the excess fat, obese people are more open to heart problems and cholesterol problems

People who have too little food or little food and people who do not take in the right amount of nourishments
5 of 10
How can inherited factors affect your health? (1.3)
Inherited factors affect our health. These include our metabolic rate and cholesterol level
6 of 10
Does exercise make you healthier? (1.3)
People who exercise regularly are usually healthier than people who take little exercise
7 of 10
What are pathogens? (1.4)
Infectious diseases are caused by microorganisms called pathogens, such as bacteria and viruses
