What are the three steps?

What is the premack principle?
You use a preferred behaviour to reinforce an unpreferred behaviour

What is shaping?
You reinforce progress rather than waiting for perfection

What is positive practice?
Practise correct behaviour as much as possible

Give some examples of management managerial strategies:
token programmes, self management and contingency contracts

What are token programmes?
It is where a child is given a star/point when they have shown good behaviour or done some good work

What is self management?
Where a child analyses their own behaviour in order to manage it. They may set their own goals and keep track of their progress

What are contingency contracts?
These are individual contracts that states what the child must do to earn a particular privilege or reward
