Define empirical formula
The simpilist ratio of atoms in a molecule

Define molecular formula
The actual ratio of atoms in a molecule

Define structural formula
The atoms of a molecule written carbon by carbon with the attached hydrogens and functional groups of each one shown.

a structual drawing of the molecule showing how the atoms are arranged.

Organic compounds with the same general formula and similar chemical properties.
