What are adverbs used for?
They are used to describe a verb, an adjective or another adverb. Adverbs provide information about the words they modify, such as when, where, how, how often, or to what degree something is done.

What do they mostly end in?
Usually they end in -ment (e.g. normalement) which is equivalent to the English -ly (e.g. normally).

What do you do if the adjective ends in a vowel?
You add -ment to form the adverb, e.g. absolU -> absolument

What do you do if the adjective ends in a consonant?
You add -ment to the feminine form of it, e.g. normaL -> normale -> normalement

What do some adjectives do?
They change their final e to an é before adding -ment, e.g. précis -> précisément

What do you do if an adjective ends in -ent or -ant?
You remove this ending and add either -amment or -emment e.g. intelligent -> intelligemment or constant -> constamment
