How is the spongy mesophyll adapted?
It has air spaces that provide a large surface area for cells to exchange gases with the air
2 of 7
What is the stomata?
Microscopic pores that allow CO2 to diffuse in to the leaves
3 of 7
Which specialised cell open/close the stomata?

What happen in the night to the stomata?
At night water flows out of guard cell and there for they lose their rigidity and stomata shuts
