The colonisation of an inhospitable enviroment by organisms called pioneer species

When the community has evolved enough to allow many species both human and plants to flourish

What is there normally within a climax community?
A dominant plant species and dominant animal species

Early years - bacteria colonise the land reduce toxic factors

Management of the Earth's natural resources to maximise them

What are the 3 main reasons for conservation?
Ethical, Economic - bigger gene pool, Cultural and aesthetic - Enrich our land
