Scrooge
Scrooge is a miserable, nasty man who is always looking for the cheapest way to do things. He doestn care about other peoples lives and feelings and only cares what will effect him.

Marley
Marley is Scrooge's old work partner who we find is dead at the beginning of the story. However he appears to Scrooge having chains attached to him because he was not a good person when he was alive.

Bob Cratchet
Bob Cratchet is Scrooge's clerk who isn't payed a lot by Scrooge. He is made to work with a fire with only coal in. He has a big family to feed so his house isn't very good.

Fred
Fred is Scrooges nephew, however they are very different people. Fred is very jolly and happy and is always trying to get Scrooge to visit them on Christmas. He is never put off by Scrooge's negativity.

Fezziwig
Fezziwig is Scrooge's old boos and is a very jolly man. He treats all his visitors and employees as equal people and has a positive effect on everybody.
