Give 3 parts of the wedding ceremony:

The vows are taken in a church, in front of god (so it is a promise to eachother and god), the wedding vows bind the couple together in front of god, the rings are symbols of their eternal love, the ring is a circle (never ending) symbol of enduring

Divorce is the better of 2 evils (should be taken seriously), you can re-marry

What do the roman Catholics think on divorce and re-marriage?

divorce is wrong, even in a divorce they can't re-marry as that would be adultery, annulments can be made (the marriage is dissolved) if one person didn't consent to the marriage, has a mental health problem or they have never had sex

Social pressure- media makes out extra - marital sex is good and their is more of an opportunity to meet people to have affairs with , lack of commitment - peopel aren't so willign to work through difficulties

Too high expectations - romantic ideas of what married life will be like, Divorce is quicker and easier today, money problems - concerns about money can lead to arguments and tensions
