6. Titration and Moles

?
What is a Mole ?
A mole is the number of atoms which together make up the Relative Atomic mass in Grams (e.g. 1 mole for Carbon-12 is the number of Carbon-12's in 12g)

What indicator is used in titration?
Methyl orange or phenolphthalein
3 of 6
How is titration found out in an experiment?
Get a flask with an alkali and indicator in it, measure the amount of acid you put in the flask with a burette until the solution is neutral

What is the equation for number of Moles?
Number of Moles = Volume (dm(3)) X Concentration (Mol/dm(3))
