Random Sampling
Every member of the population has equal chance of being chosen. Identifying everyone in target population and selecting particants in a fair manner.

Negatives Random
However, it relies on all participants being available. If they're not, then it's not truly random. There is also a possibility of chance bias.

Most used by psychology students. Taking sample from those available at the time of the study.

Negatives Oppertunity
Most of the population is excluded. There's a change of possible unconscious experimenter bias. Some participants may like helping, potentially causing a bias of helpful people.
