: cardiac disease (infective endocarditis high risk), bleeding disorders, diabetes mellitus, cancer treatment, pregnancy

what is type IV latex allergy
• Type IV- allergic dermatitis
Use latex free rubber dam
It is safe to use gutta-percha cones (provided they are placed with no contact with periradicular tissues)

• Type I- anaphylactic reaction
Check if there were specific tests conducted, if not, refer the patient
Pt requires to be seen in a special latex free room
Use latex-free RD, ensure to latex/rubber-containing materials are brought with you to the room
