The ability to move and change direction quickly (at speed) while maintaining control. E.g. a dodge in netball/ getting into a space when freeing a defender.
1 of 10
BALANCE
The maintenance of the centre of mass gravity over the base of support. Static (still), dynamic (whilst moving) E.g. Holding a position in ballet.

CARDIOVASCULAR ENDURANCE
The ability of the heart and the lungs to supply oxygen to the working muscles. E.g. Marathon/ long distance runners need a maintained supply of oxygen.

The ability of a muscle or muscle group to undergo repeated contractions without tiring. E.g. When rowing the arm muscles are used for the same repeated movements.

POWER
The product of strength and speed (explosive strength/anaerobic power) STREGTH x SPEED E.g. Releasing a shotput, Kicking a football, Punching in boxing
7 of 10
