Yeast can repire aerobically or anaerobically.
Anaerobic respiration:
gluocse --> ethanol + carbon dioxide + energy
Aerobic respiration:
glucose + oxygen --> carbon dioxide + water + energy
Aerobic respiration produces lots more energy.
