Working memory model - Baddeley and Hitch (1974)
The working memory model suggests that the STM is made up of seperate stores.
These stores include the central executive, phonological loop, visuo-spatial sketchpad.
Central Executive:
This store is the part in overal control. It's main use is for problem solving, reasoning and desition making.
Phonological Loop:
This consists of 2 parts:
Phonological store - Inner ear
Articulatory control system - inner voice
