the fear of the power of women as they disrupt the flow of a man's world - iago does not trust women and neither does othellos trust desdemona

all women are rejected by their partners - unbalnced relationships and partnerships - they all love theier partner unselvishly

in shakespeare's society, women were played by young boys as women were socially unaccepeted.
