Deindustrialisation - the decline in industrial activity in a region or economy

Globalisation is an ongoing process. As a consequence, the global economy is changing all the time. The growing economy is affecting people, particularly throughout the world, but in different ways. Many developed countries have moved away from an industrial economy and are going through the process of deindustrialisation.

  • Children have to work
  • Getting subjected to abuse
  • Long hours in poor conditions
  • low wages
  • More jobs

Younger people don't benefit as much in a MEDC…
