Air masses - a volume of air which shares the same characteristics e.g. moisture

Oban Climate:

  • Highest temperature - 15 degrees in July
  • Lowest temperature - 3.8 degrees in December
  • Highest Rainfall - 230mm in December
  • Lowest rainfall - 90mm in May
  • In winter - cold and very wet
  • In summer - warmer and dryer

Dundee Climate:

  • Highest temperaure - 16 degrees in July 
  • Lowest tempertaure - 3 degrees in December
  • Highest rainfall - 80mm in July
  • Lowest rarinfall - 1.5mm in April
  • In winter - cold, quite wet
  • In summer - warmer, less wet but still some rainfall

Cambridge Climate:

  • Highest temperature - 18 degrees in July
  • Lowest temperature - 3 degrees in January
  • Highest rainfall - 48mm in January
  • Lowest rainfall - 30mm in February
  • In winter - cold, quite wet
  • In summer - warm, very little rainfall

Falmouth Climate:

  • Highest temperature - 17 degrees in July
  • Lowest temperature - 5 degrees in January
