I wanted to share some observations and questions I had after reading the article. It says that a number of foreign food producers who have announced their intention to leave the Russian market are actually delaying this process. According to the article, these companies still doing business with russia, which makes one wonder about the consequences of this decision. On the one hand, it is good for consumers: the assortment will remain wide, and prices may not rise due to competition. On the other hand, one has to wonder how much of this delay is temporary? Could it be that companies are simply experiencing logistical difficulties or that they have completely changed their minds about leaving?
