Developments in International Relations:
.As foreign minister, Stresemann worked hard to restore Germany's position in Europe as a trusted trading partner.
.Not all Germans were willing to adhere to his policy of co-operation- there was too much bitterness in the country.
.Stresemann was able to get support in Western European countries as they were afraid if they did not support him the USSR would.
. Stresemann aimed to develop better relations with Western Europe so that he could, in the future, make changes to the Treaty of Versailles over Poland.
.Poland contained a number of German-speaking areas, and the so-called Polish Corridor split Germany in two, separating East Prussia from the rest of Germany.
