Weaknesses of the Constitution

Strengths of the Consitution: 

Amendments Process: Change can come to the constitution, but there are other protections in place to avoid drastic changes, and or mass public hysteria or even political instability. Evidence comes from the limited number of amendments since 1787. 

Principles: The Constitution presupposes that every US citizen is entitled to a life of liberty and the 'pursuit of happiness. The 'bedrock' of modern liberal democracy.
