Was the Tsar's decision to become commander-in-chief a mistake?

YES IT WAS A MISTAKE:
- Any failure that would result from any battle/the war would be directly associated with the Tsar
-so it made him more vulnerable to revolution as he would be the one associated with teh failure of Russia
-So, it put his position and security on the line
-especially because everyone was expecting the to win, even if their strategies were not that good as they were great in number
-can be seen as leading all the peasants to death (as most of the soldiers were from the peasantry) - Could not supervise back at home
-to mabe have prevented a revolution from simmering (or from simmering so quickly)
