Vicarious Liability is when a person is liable for another person's torts.

Acting within course of employment

• As long as the employee is acting within the course of employment, the employer would be held liable
• Employer may be held liable if employee does job negligently - Century Insurance v NRTB
• Employer may be held liable even if the employee was ignoring instructions - Limpus v LGO
