USA 1920's-The Palmer Raids

What happened?
-Palmer was appointed autorny by President Wilson
-He was in charge of dealing with radicals and communists
-Palmer went agaisnt Wilsons wish to grant apeasment to those imprisoned during the war
-And when insustrail industries went on strike Palmer created an unmoving opposition agaisnt them
-In Novemeber federal agents acting under the justice department raided alleged radical groups and over 205 people were arrested
-199 of them were deported by Palmer
-Then the raids continued in Janurary raiding the homes of suspected communists and and more suspects…
