Summer of '56

- As the boycott moved into the summer, the press followed it more closely whcih raised the issue of the deep racial hate in the south.

- The MIA took on the issue of segregation on transport to a federal distict court which accepted that segregation was unconstitutional. However, Montgomery officials appealed so it went tp the Supreme Court.

- On 13th November 1956, the Supreme Court upheld the federal courts ruling. The boycott was…
