If two or more materials are combined together by some kind of bonding, a composite material is created. The resulting composite often has improved mechanical, functional and aesthetic properties when compared to the original materials from which it was made. They tend to have excellent strength-to-weight ratios and are useful for many projects.

GRP - Glass reinforced plastics - Is a composite material that is manufactured from thermosetting plastic resin that has been reinforced using very fine glass.
