UK's Aging Population Case Study

The aging population is caused by increasingg life expectancy and dropping birth rate. Reasons for this are;

  • People live longer because of advances in medicines and better living standards. 
  • The baby bloom in the 1940's has caused a pensioner bloom as they're all retirering.
  • Since the 1970's babies born have fallen, fewer young people in the population…
