Types of plate margin: Constructive

Constructive Margins:

• Occur when two plates are moving apart
• The mantle is under pressure, when they move apart the pressure is realsed at the margin
• The pressure can cause the mantle to melt, forming magma
• The magma is less dense so rises and can form a Volcano
• The plates do not move apart at the same time, this causes pressure to build as well…
