Managing payroll is a key task:

  • figures produced at the end of the tax year 
  • employee given slip summarising annual payments,deductions, summarising total wage payments

- Any payroll system must be able to manage events, i.e. employee leaving or tax rate changing. 

- Consist of records, calculations needed to work out the payments and deductions for every employee of a business. 

- Must be secure
