The two-process method is simply classical and operant conditioning. They are both learning principles of the behaviourist approach.
Classical Conditioning.
A learning process that occurs when two stimuli are repeatedly paired gives a response which is at first elicited by the unconditioned stimulus is eventually elicited by the previously neutral stimulus alone.
UCS= Unconditioned stimulus
UCR= Unconditioned response
NS= Neutral stimulus (In pavlov's was a bell)
NR= Neutral response (nothing)
CS= Conditioned stimulus
CR= Conditioned response
