Their address on the LEFT-HAND SIDE.

'Dear Sir' if you don't know their name.

'Dear Mr. Wolowitz' if you do.

  • Each one should cover a different aspect of the theme of the letter

  • Conclusion - Sum up your ideas and suggest what you want to hapen next

LANGUAGE AND TONE

Formal, impersonal, subject-specific vocabulary, no contracted words.

Connectives should be used to aid cohesion.
