Training of judges

Training 

• Overseen by the judical college. 
• Training body is responsible for ensuring newly appointed judges, trained in three areas. 

Knowledge of law - evidence and procedure - ensures judges are up to date with the ever changing law and hopefully make fewer mistakes which leads to appeals. 

Judical skills - Equip them wwitg the ability to make judgement and control trials, pass appropriate sentences…
